Born in Santa Maria da Feira (Portugal) in 2008. Since 2026, he is a student at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Telefónica Violin Chair, with Professor Christoph Poppen. He holds scholarships from Santander Portugal and Fundación Albéniz.
Coming from a family of musicians, he began his musical studies at the age of five at the Santa Maria da Feira Music Academy with Hélder Sá. He continued with Heloísa Ribeiro, Ana Sofia Mota, Pedro Rocha, and Nuno Soares. Between 2022 and 2024, he completed the professional string instrument program at the Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho, where he established himself as a violinist. He has also attended masterclasses with Michael Foyle, Elicia Silverstein, Andrey Baranov, Daniel Roland, Zofia Kuberska, and Christoph Poppen, among others.
Among the accolades received are the Third Chamber Music Prize of the Gilberta Paiva Competition, obtained in a duo with piano; and, in 2025, the First Prize of the Prémio Arcada Violin Competition (category E) and the Soloists Competition of the Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho.
He is actively involved in orchestral activities. He is the concertmaster of the Orquestra de Jóvenes de Santa Maria da Feira and a member of the Orquestra Clássica de Espinho, with which he has worked under the direction of Jean-Marc Burfin, Cesário Costa, Paulo Martins, Pawel Kapuła, Diogo Costa, Joana Carneiro, José Eduardo, and Pedro Neves (as a soloist, in 2025). He also participated in the Junge Mahler Orchester in Murcia.
