Born in Bern (Switzerland) in 2006. Since 2025, he has been a student at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Telefónica Violin Chair, under Professor Christoph Poppen. She holds a scholarship from the Fundación Albéniz.
Coming from a family of musicians, he began his studies at the age of 4 with his father, Oleg Kaskiv, a principal professor at the Menuhin Academy. He was educated at Institut Le Rosey and Regent International School, where he completed the International Baccalaureate. He has participated in masterclasses with musicians such as Anna Chumachenco, Tedi Papavrami, and Nora Chastain, and has continued his training with his father.
He has won prizes in international competitions such as the “Lvivskyy Virtuoz” and the Grumiaux Competition. As a soloist, he has given international concerts and performed with orchestras such as INSO-Lviv, the Menuhin Festival Gstaad and the Menuhin Academy Soloists, appearing in countries including Switzerland, France, Italy and Belgium.
As a student at the School, he has performed with the Freixenet Orchestra (conducted by Lucas Macías). He is currently a member of the Victoria Trio and the Eleutheria Quartet.
