He was born in Bern (Switzerland) in 2006. Since 2025, he has been a student at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Telefónica Violin Chair, under Professor Christoph Poppen. He holds a Fundación Albéniz scholarship.
Born into a family of musicians, he began his studies at the age of four with his father, Oleg Kaskiv, Principal Professor at the Menuhin Academy. He studied at Institut Le Rosey and Regent International School, completing the International Baccalaureate. He has taken part in masterclasses with musicians such as Anna Chumachenco and Tedi Papavrami, and has continued his training with his father.
He has won prizes in international competitions such as the “Lvivskyy Virtuoz” and the Grumiaux Competition. As a soloist, he has given international concerts and performed with orchestras such as INSO-Lviv, the Menuhin Festival Gstaad and the Menuhin Academy Soloists, appearing in countries including Switzerland, France, Italy and Belgium.
As a student at the School, he is a member of the Victoria Trio and the Eleutheria Quartet.
