The Kandinsky Quartet, founded in Vienna in 2020, is rapidly consolidating its presence across Europe. With a keen sense of color and refined musical instinct, the ensemble explores the richness of the string quartet repertoire through four distinct artistic personalities and perspectives.
In April 2024, they were awarded the First Prize at the Gasteig Competition in Munich. Previous accolades include prizes at the Boccherini and Mozart Competitions, as well as the “Verbier Anniversary Prize”.
Their engagements for 2025 include performances at the Solti Hall in Budapest, Villa Musica, the Sala dei Giganti in Padua, the Reid Hall in Paris, and festivals such as Mozartfest Würzburg, Inventio Music, Impuls Graz, Il Circolo Di Ave, the Gent Festival, and the Teatro Civico La Spezia, where they will perform alongside Marie Chilemme (Quatuor Ébène).
