He was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1973. He began his oboe studies with Salvador Tudela, and completed his musical training at the Conservatory of Valencia with Francisco Salanova. Subsequently, he was part of the classes of Vicente Llimerá, Lothar Koch and Hansjörg Schellenberger.
He is currently an assistant oboe professor in the Oboe and Orchestral Perfection Chair at the Reina Sofía School of Music.
Likewise, since 1999 he has been an oboe professor with the National Orchestra of Spain (ONE), of which he has been an oboe soloist since 2008. With the ONE and other European orchestras he has performed under the direction of conductors such as Yuri Temirkanov, Ricardo Mutti, Kurt Sanderling, Semyon Bychkov or Georges Prêtre, among many others, maintaining a strong solo and chamber activity as a member of ensembles such as the Plural Ensemble, specialized in contemporary music, with which he has recorded several albums.
As a concert performer, he has performed with orchestras such as the National Youth Orchestra of Spain or the National Orchestra of Spain.
In 2002 he was invited by the Ravenna Festival to be part of the Musicians of Europe United orchestra, composed of musicians from the best orchestras in the world (Berlin, Vienna and New York Philharmonic, Concertgebouw and London Symphony). Conducted by Ricardo Mutti, the orchestra performed in New York as part of the tributes to the victims of 9/11.
Moreover, as a science fiction and fantasy writer, he has published his stories in various anthologies in Spain, Denmark, France and Japan.
