A Stage for Your Cause
The Reina Sofía School of Music is launching a new call to promote social projects that share the same conviction: that music can create opportunities, inspire people, and help build a more cohesive society.
Through this initiative, the School makes its Sony Auditorium available to a non-profit entity, together with the artistic and organisational support needed to hold a top-quality charity concert, creating a unique opportunity to raise the profile of its cause and connect with new audiences.
This call is part of the School’s commitment to a transparent, open, and sustainable collaboration with the third sector. In this edition, the concert may be held on a weekend date—Friday, Saturday, or Sunday—when the School has no programming of its own, during October 2026 or February 2027.
Who is it for?
This call is aimed at social entities and non-profit organisations, legally constituted and based in Spain, that work for the general interest and share the conviction that music can be a powerful tool for social transformation.
Organisations that meet the following requirements may apply:
- Have an annual operating budget of less than €1,000,000.
- Submit a project that includes a classical music concert performed by students of the Reina Sofía School of Music as an essential part of the proposal.
- Not have been selected in any of the three previous editions of the call.
Your Project, Supported by Our Experience
The Reina Sofía School of Music offers the ideal setting to turn an event into an artistic experience of excellence.
The proposal includes the granting use of the Sony Auditorium, one of Madrid’s leading music venues, equipped with the technical and human resources needed to ensure a flawless production. The organiser has infrastructure, audiovisual resources, specialised technical support, and a professional front-of-house team that manages audience seating, access control, in-room assistance, and all the services needed so that every detail contributes to the success of the event.
Added to this is the School’s main differentiating value: the talent of its musicians and the backing of an institution internationally recognised for the excellence of its artistic training. The proposal includes the participation of the selected students, artistic direction, musical preparation, and the rehearsals needed to deliver a top-level performance.
Submission of applications
Applications must be submitted exclusively via the form available on the School’s website. The form includes the entity’s details, technical and production information, and a description of the project (maximum length: two A4 pages).
Applications submitted after the deadline or that do not include the minimum required information will not be considered.
