Born in Alboraia (Valencia). He studied clarinet at the Joaquin Rodrigo Higher Conservatory of Music in Valencia with Professor Joan Cerveró and later obtained a “Master of Interpretation” at the Giussepe Verdi Conservatory of Milan with Alessandro Carbonare. At the same time, he studied bass clarinet with Antonio Goig and Harry Sparnaay. He expanded his studies with masters José Vicente Herrera, Joan Enric Lluna, Reinhart Wieser, Pascal Moragués, Miguel Espejo, Vicent Alós, Bertram Egger, Eric Hoeprich, Gili Rinot, Louis Sajote. Under the guidance of Lorenzo Coppola, he was introduced to the study of historical instruments and under his tutelage, he obtained a “Master of Interpretation of Early Music” at the ESMUC.

During his training, and up to the present, he has developed significant work in the field of chamber music. Since 1994 he has been a member of the Quartet de Clarinets Quatre Vents with whom he has been awarded in the following competitions: First Prize in the Ciutat de Castellterçol Chamber Music Competition, First Prize in the Ciutat de Manresa Chamber Music Competition, First Prize in the Monserrat Alavedra de Terrasa Chamber Music Competition, Third Prize in the Guadamora Chamber Music Competition.

In 2008 he founded the Trio Musicalis, a violin, clarinet and piano ensemble, with whom he obtained third prize in the “Cidade d’Alcobaça” International Chamber Music Competition (Portugal). For two years they organised the MuXXIcalis chamber music cycle and composers such as Manuel Angunlo, Hana Ajiashvili, Maria Eugenia Luc, Ramón Paus, Cruz Lopez Rego, Javier Jacinto, Oscar Escudero have dedicated works to them. The Trío Musicalis is sponsored by the magazine Musica y Educación. In addition, he participates with groups such as Neopercusión, Alart quartet, Plural Ensemble, Ensemble Residencias, Ensemble de la Orquesta de Cadaqués, Trio Dahmar, Sonor Ensemble, Mixtour, Teatre InstrumentaL, among others.

In the field of orchestral performance, he collaborates with orchestras such as the Freiburguer Barockorquester, Orquesta de Cadaqués, the Orquesta del Palau de les Arts de Valencia, Spira Mirabilis, Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Córdoba, Orquesta de Cámara Andres Segovia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Baleares Ciudad de Palma, Orquesta de Radio Televisión Española, Orquesta de Valencia. In 2002 he obtained the position of clarinet-bass clarinet in the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid and since 2006 he has held the position of clarinet-bass clarinet in the Orquesta Nacional de España.

Since January 2025, he has been a professor of bass clarinet at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid.
