Jeannine Bouché holds a degree in Literature from the University of Toulouse and has studied piano with Francisco Fuster and Marguerite Long, and singing with Pierre Bernac, Gérard Souzay, and Jean-Christophe Benoît. Since 1982, she has been a professor at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid and is a regular advisor on French phonetics for leading Spanish choirs and singers. She has also given numerous lectures, taught courses, and participated in several opera productions, such as Stravinsky’s “Le Rossignol” and Glück’s “Iphigénie en Tauride.” She is currently a professor of French phonetics at the Reina Sofía School of Music.
