After playing the entire Allegro, Asier Polo congratulates them and comments that, in general, the viola needs to be more prominent throughout the movement to balance the planes. The students believe that everything is over forte and they need to find more nuances and better graduate the sound intensity. They work in detail on the rhythm of the beginning and also discuss the soundand harmonic planes, giving indications especially to violin I. This piece needs very long phrases, not based on small motifs. The character has to be more rhapsodic, the melodic line has to fly. You have to play more with melodic freedom and subjection to harmony, and always maintaining the energy, holding or vibrating. They correct and work on several aspects of blending, rhythm, phrasing and expressiveness in the piano. The dissonances have to be highlighted more. Some details of articulation are commented on:a note with a dot cannot be detached from the rest, it has to be given more resonance. The fortissimo towards the end has to be done accumulating energy and feeling the triplet, with more activity. In general, you can play a little more with freedom so that it is not so academic. The end is more energetic, holding the weight from the string, without releasing, and without accelerating ahead of time.
