He was born in Gangneung (South Korea) in 2004. Since 2024, he has been a student at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Aline Foriel-Destezet Cello Chair, under Professor Ivan Monighetti. She holds a scholarship from the Fundación Albéniz.

After graduating as the top student from the Korea National University of Arts, he continued his training with Ivan Monighetti. Supported by scholarships from Hyundai Motors and the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein, he has participated in masterclasses with renowned masters such as Helmerson, Monighetti, and Tsutsumi.

He made his debut at the age of 13 at the Kumho Art Hall and as a soloist with the Gangneung Philharmonic Orchestra. He has won numerous competitions in Korea, including the Grand Prize at the Seongjeong Competition, and international awards such as third place in the Tchaikovsky Competition and second place in the Penderecki Competition. He has performed in venues such as the Mariinsky Theatre and the Liszt Academy in Hungary. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) Orchestra in Beijing, under the baton of Zubin Mehta.

As a student at the School, he has performed with the Freixenet Orchestra (conducted by Lucas Macías) and the Sinfonietta (conducted by Nacho de Paz). He is currently a member of the Eleutheria Quartet and the Cosan Ensemble.
