She was born in Seoul (Korea) in 1997. Since 2024, she has been studying in the Santander Bank Foundation Piano Chair at the Reina Sofía School of Music, with Professor Milana Chernyavska. She holds an Albéniz Foundation scholarship.
She began playing the piano at the age of five. She studied at Konkuk University’s Young Musicians Academy and at Sunhwa Arts High School, receiving scholarships from the City of Seoul and the Sunhwa Piano Society. She continued her training at the University of Music and Theatre Munich under Professor Antti Siirala, in the “Excellence in Performance” programme, with scholarships from various foundations. She has also taken part in masterclasses given by professors such as Jonathan Biss and Eldar Nebolsin, among others.
She has won several awards, including First Prize at the 2023 Campillos International Piano Competition, Second Prize at the Madrid International Piano Competition, First Prize at the “Cittá di Treviso” International Piano Competition, and a special distinction for her interpretation of Estonian compositions at the Tallinn International Piano Competition, among other competitions.
She made her debut as a soloist in 2017 with the North German Philharmonic Orchestra in Rostock, and has performed at the Mariinsky Theatre and with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
As a student at the School, she has performed with the Freixenet Orchestra (as a soloist, conducted by Pablo González). She was also a member of the Lili Boulanger Trio and the Gershwin Duo. She is currently a member of the Eleutheria Quartet.
