He was born in Shenzhen (China) in 2007. Since 2024, he has been a student at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Aline Foriel-Destezet Cello Chair, under Professor Ivan Monighetti. He holds a Fundación Albéniz scholarship.

He began studying the cello at the age of seven with Gu Enwei, and continued at the school of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, in Professor Yu Mingqing’s class. Since 2022, on the recommendation of David Geringas and at the invitation of Vasily Stepanov, he studied at the Gnessin Special Secondary School of Music in Moscow.

He has also taken part in masterclasses with professors such as Ivan Monighetti, Lynn Harrell, Ronald Leonard, Laurence Lesser, Hans Jensen, Maciej Kulakowski, Matti Rossi, Philip Muller, Michel Strauss and Michaela Fukacova.

In 2023, he performed at the Sviatoslav Knushevitsky International Cello Competition, at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory’s Concert Hall on the occasion of the Oleg Kagan Memorial Master, and at the VIVACELLO International Festival in Moscow.

He has won the Grand Prix Virtuoso in Bonn (First Prize and Special Prize for Young Talents, 2020), the Gustav Mahler Prize in Prague (First Prize and the Director’s Prize of the Gustav Mahler Academy, 2021), the Mirovinsky International Strings Competition (Second Prize, 2022) and the Kunushewitsky International Competition (Silver Prize in the adult category, Moscow 2023), among other awards.

As a student at the School, he has performed with the Camerata Fundación EDP (conducted by Giovanni Guzzo) and with the School’s Baroque Ensemble (conducted by Paul Goodwin). He has also been a member of the Turina and Granados quartets. He is currently a member of the Pérez-Llorca and Lili Boulanger Haydn quartets, and of the Alma Mahler Trio.
