With the dual purpose of providing its students with experience in this field and enriching its musical offerings to society, the Reina Sofía School of Music has created several orchestral ensembles composed of its students and led by School faculty as well as guest conductors.
The Freixenet Symphony Orchestra was presented in 2008 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
