EmpleARTE is the employability conference for young musicians that aims to offer a broad and comprehensive view of the current professional reality in the field of classical music. Its objective is to publicize new opportunities and connect with leaders in the sector. This initiative, jointly organized by the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE) and the Reina Sofía School of Music, will feature presentations, workshops, and mentoring sessions.

A key alliance for the sector

The 2026 edition incorporates an especially significant milestone: a joint action with the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), to enrich the training experience and broaden the impact of the event. This new alliance reinforces EmpleARTE’s mission as a space for inspiration, guidance, and professional support for new generations.

In the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, different thematic workshops will be held. Each workshop will consist of two 45-minute sessions, with the aim that each musician can participate in 2 workshops, with mandatory prior reservation.

Three projects linked to cultural entrepreneurship, education, mediation/social action, technology, or new formats will be selected and presented in pitch format during EmpleARTE; a committee of experts will provide feedback and choose a winning project with a prize of €500 (see the terms and conditions).

Mentoring

Throughout the day, we will also have personalized mentoring sessions with leading figures in the sector to provide guidance on specific issues related to already established projects. Mandatory prior reservation.
