Praised for his technique and color palette, Luis Fernando Pérez is considered one of the most exceptional musicians of his generation and “The Renaissance of the Spanish Piano” (Le Monde). He has received master classes from multiple exceptionally talented performers such as Leon Fleisher, András Schiff, Bruno-Leonardo Gelber, and Menahem Pressler.
He has collaborated, among many other orchestras, with the National Orchestra of Spain, the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, and the Polska Filharmonia Baltycka together with conductors of the stature of George Tchitchinadze, Ros Marbá, Kazuki Yamada, Jesús López Cobos, and Jean-Jacques Kantorow.

His “Iberia” earned him the Albéniz Medal and is considered “The fourth mythical Iberia” by the Grammophone Magazine (Alicia de Larrocha, Esteban Sánchez, Rafael Orozco). His Goyescas by Granados, recorded on the French label Mirare, received the Diapasón de Oro and the Choc of the year from Classica magazine. He has recently recorded an album dedicated to Federico Mompou (FFFF from Télérama and Diapasón 5 stars) and is currently working on recording his next work.
Along with his frenetic concert activity, he develops an intense dedication to teaching at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center and the Marshall Academy (following in the footsteps of his teacher Alicia de Larrocha). He is also a professor of the Piano and Chamber Music Master’s Degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Aragón, as well as a Guest Professor at the University of Senzoku (Tokyo).
