British tenor John Graham-Hall made his Royal Opera debut in 1989 as Albert Herring. He studied at King’s College (Cambridge) and the Royal College of Music (London). He has participated in the works Moses and Aaron, Death in Venice, Peter Grimes, Der Rosenkavalier, Eugene Onegin, Sweeney Todd, The Marriage of Figaro, and The Magic Flute. He has performed in prestigious venues such as La Scala in Milan, the Opéra de Nice, the Châtelet and Opéra National de Paris, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and the Teatro Real in Madrid. He has worked with conductors such as Bernard Haitink, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Pierre Boulez, Andrew David, Jeffrey Tate, Sir Simon Rattle, John Eliot Gardiner, and Claudio Abbado.
