Madrid, April 15, 2026. – The Reina Sofía School of Music and Qualitas Energy have signed a collaboration agreement through which the energy company becomes a patron of a chamber music group at the School, thus reinforcing its commitment to the training of young talents and the promotion of musical excellence.
Qualitas Energy is a leading global investment and management platform, with a dual focus on financing and developing renewable energies, energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure. This agreement is part of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility program, Steps of Change, specifically within its education pillar, from which the company promotes initiatives aimed at generating opportunities and supporting talent development.
The purpose of the agreement, signed by Paloma O’Shea, founding president of the Reina Sofía School, and Iñigo Olaguíbel, Managing Partner & Executive Chairman of Qualitas Energy, is the patronage and support for the training of the chamber group Quinteto Granados de Qualitas Energy. This ensemble receives classes from Márta Gulyás, Professor of the Piano Chamber Music Department, and is composed of violinists María Ramos (Spain, 2003) and Jonah Kartman (United States, 2001), violist Guilherme de Tomás (Portugal, 2003), cellist María Igual (Spain, 2003), and pianist Yuanfan Yang (Scotland, 1997).
Furthermore, as part of this commitment, Iñigo Olaguíbel himself joins the Board of Trustees of the Reina Sofía School, the highest governing body of this institution.
