The Reina Sofía School of Music and the Rogelio Groba Foundation join forces to promote musical talent and artistic creation

Madrid, March 27, 2026. – The Reina Sofía School of Music and the Rogelio Groba Foundation have formalized a collaboration agreement with the aim of strengthening ties between both institutions and promoting the development of highly talented young musicians.

The agreement, signed in Madrid by Julia Sánchez Abeal, General Director of the Reina Sofía School, and Rogelio Celso Groba, President of the Rogelio Groba Foundation, establishes a framework for cooperation to explore artistic, cultural, and educational synergies.

The agreement will allow both entities to share information on cultural cycles and projects, collaborate on artistic proposals of interest to the School’s musicians, and foster connections between their respective musical communities, contributing to the development of initiatives that promote talent and artistic creation.

Following the signing of the document, Julia Sánchez Abeal highlighted that this alliance “reinforces the School’s commitment to the artistic and professional development of our musicians, both current and former students, by connecting with prestigious institutions that, like the Rogelio Groba Foundation, safeguard musical heritage and creation.”

For his part, Rogelio Celso Groba noted that “for the Rogelio Groba Foundation, formalizing this agreement is a very interesting opportunity to establish and strengthen a fruitful artistic relationship for our cycles and Festivals, such as the fourteenth edition of the Groba Festival and the Noches de la Ciudad Vieja Festival in A Coruña.”
