Special XX Anniversary concert

As a celebration of the XX anniversary of the Encuentro, the Sala Argenta of the Palace of Festivals will host an extraordinary and special concert. Péter Csaba, Artistic Director of the Encuentro, has ellaborated a very varied program in which works by universal composers such as Bach, Bartók or Profokiev are combined with others by lesser known authors such as Hiller or Resch. Péter Csaba himself will act as master of ceremonies presenting each of the works, which will be performed by great artists in a concert that will feature unique moments. As a culmination of the event, Doña Paloma O'Shea will award maestro Csaba with the Fundación Albéniz medal in recognition of his work as Director of the Encuentro during the last twenty years. The event will end up with a great final surprise that will put a distinctive finishing touch to a night of music celebration.
