David Tobin

Dublin, 1995. He has performed as soloist with orchestras including the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonieorchester Aachen, Poltava Symphony Orchestra Ukraine, National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, and with the New York Concerti Sinfonietta in Carnegie Hall. He currently studies a Soloist Master's degree programme at the University of the Arts, Berlin with professor Honda-Rosenberg. David is also the most successful string player at Ireland's national competition, Feis Ceoil, and has also been awarded in international competition. He regularly performs with his Trio Zilia, the Kahlo Piano Quartet, as well as with chamber musicians such as Barnabas Kelemen, Maxim Rysanov and Kian Soltani, conductors Daniel Barenboim, Vasily Petrenko and Marin Alsop, at prestigious events such as Salzburg Festival, Lucerne Festival and the BBC Proms.
