Our Content
As part of its work to educate young musicians and bring Classical music closer to society, the Reina Sofía School of Music has a media production department, formed by experienced musicologists and top-level technicians.
Canal Escuela provides hundreds of free masterclasses and concerts, recorded since 1997. Anyone can enjoy a wide catalogue of classes of various instruments, taught by internationally renowned artists such as Lorin Maazel, Menahem Pressler, Leigh Melrose, Miriam Fried or Janne Saksala, among many others. Hundreds of hours worth of concerts are also available, all performed by our students at the School's auditorium and elsewhere, in different formats: orchestra, chamber music, recitals...
