Arthur Coatalen

Born in Paris, France, in 2004. He started to play piano at the age of seven with Hungarian teachers. Later he studied with Mireille Phillips at the Schola Cantorum and with Romain Descharmes at the Paris Regional Conservatory. He currently studies at the Paris National Conservatory with Hortense Cartier-Bresson. Being both French and Hungarian, he has attended masterclasses in both countries and has enjoyed the advice of Jacques Rouvier, Haruko Ueda, Sébastien Vichard, Fabien Waksman, Gabor Eckhardt, and Peter Kiss, among others. He has won awards in several competitions in France (Île de France, Chatou, Lagny, Steinway), Czech Republic (Broumov Key), Italy (Pietro Argento), Spain (Ibiza), and Belgium (César Franck).
