Axel Borgqvist

Axel Borgqvist

Born in Lund, Sweden, in 2003. He started to play violin at the age of five, and he has participated in several music talent programmes since then, such as the one organised by the Barrat Due Institute of Music (Norway) and the YOMA Young Musicians Academy (Sweden). He has also attended masterclasses by professors including Maciej Rakowsky, Oliver Charier and Stefan Barrat Due. He is currently in the first year of violin studies at the Universität der Künste in Berlin with professor Latica Honda-Rosenberg. During his training, he has received several awards in competitions like the Öressundssolist and the Stockholm International Music Competition. He is passionate about music since he was a child and, after completing his studies, he aims for an important artistic career in a renowned orchestra or as a soloist.
