Clara-Hélène Stangorra

Kempten (Germany), 2001. She started playing the violin at the age of 4, later changed to the viola and was taught by Máté Szücs before entering the class of Tabea Zimmermann at the HfM Hanns Eisler in Berlin. In the 2020-2021 academic year she spent an exchange semester at the HEMU Genève with Máté Szücs. In 2019 she was awarded first prize at the Jugend Musiziert competition with an additional WESPE special prize granted by the Harald-Genzmer-Foundation. In 2016 and 2018 she performed as a soloist with the Kammerorchester Preetz, and she has been selected twice to participate at the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra. In 2019 she was invited to play at the International Clas
Clas Chamber Music Festival in Vilagarcía (Spain). Since 2014, Clara has been supported by the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation Hamburg. She plays a fine milanese viola, loaned by Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
