Emin Kiourktchian Tedtoeva

Born in Córdoba, Spain, in 2004. Since 2021, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación Banco Santander Piano Chair with professor Milana Chernyavska. He has been granted scholarships by Carlos Fernández González and Fundación Albéniz.

He comes from a family with a long musical tradition and began his musical studies at an early age with his mother, the pianist Larisa Tedtoeva. He furthered his training at Córdoba’s Músico Zyriab Music Conservatory, where he studied with professors Ramon Cabanillas and Luis Tomas. He has attended classes by Luis Fernando Perez, Boris Berman, Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Stanislav Ioudenitch, Rena Shereshevskaya, Ralf Gothóni, Elisabeth Leonskaja, and Nikolai Demidenko.

He has been the winner of numerous competitions: in 2015 he was the first Ex Aequo prize at the Presjovem international music school in Córdoba, first prize at the VI National Competition for Young Interpreters "America Martinez", first prize at the III Ciudad de Piano International Piano Competition. Seville "Julio Garcia Casas" for Young Talents, first prize at the infantile level "Rafael Orozco" in XXXV City of Linares "Marisa Montiel" Piano Competition and first prize in the international Rotary Club of Marbella competition; in 2017 he was the first absolute prize and special prize for the interpretation of a work by Bach in the international contest “Little great pianists” of Sigüenza; In 2021 he won the first prize and award for best performance of Beethoven in the Albacete national competition for young pianists, as well as first prize (professional degree) at the Intercentros Melómano Competition. In 2023 he won the first prize in the 9th Villa de Molina Young Performers Competition (Molina de Segura, Murcia).

He has performed as a soloist with the Murcia Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra, Capricho Español, the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, the Castelar Symphony Orchestra, the New Philharmonie Hamburg, the Vladicaucaso Philharmonic Orchestra, the Murcia Symphony Orchestra and the Córdoba Orchestra. He has participated in the international festival Somerfestival Orpheus in Wien.
As a student of the School, he has performed at the Palacio Condestable in Pamplona and he has been a member of the BBDO Contrapunto Trio. He is currently part of the Amadeus Duo.
