Heather Brooks

Born in Tunbridge, United Kingdom, in 2000. She started her harp studies at the Purcell School with professor Daphne Boden, with GMDS and Robert Bouffler Music Trust scholarships. Last year, she was first-prize winner at the United Kingdom Harp Competition, she was awarded the Szeged Government prizes in the U25 category at the 6th International Harp Competition in Szeged, as well as a position in the London Sinfonietta Academy for the academic year. After having completed her Bachelor’s Degree with First Class Honours and a concert recital diploma, she will continue her training at the Guildhall School of Music with a donor scholarship from Guildhall and the Musicians Company David Goldman Award.
