Repertoire
Candidates must submit a compulsory programme with the following four works:
- One of Joseph Haydn’s quartets, from Opus 33 to Opus 77 (minimum the first and the slow movements)
- One of the ten Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart quartets from KV 387 to KV 590 (minimum: the first and the slow movements)
- A romantic quartet, by Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn, Robert Schumann, etc. (minimum: the first and the slow movements)
- An important string quartet of the 20th century
