Alejandra Acuña


Alejandra Acuña is a mezzo-soprano and a member of the first generation of Jóvenes Crescendo at the Teatro Real in Madrid. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in Colombia, she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, where she completed her Vocal Performance Diploma and Master’s Degree in Music Interpretation. 

Her warm, agile voice, with its rich and dark timbre, along with her expressive versatility, has led her to work with renowned conductors such as Claudio Desderi, Juanjo Mena, Michal Znaniecki, Ros Marbà, and Plácido Domingo. She has shared the stage with prominent opera figures including Eva Mei, Vittorio Prato, Carlo Lepore, and Marianna Pizzolato.
