Adriana Julio Sáiz

Born in Valencia, Spain, in 2003. Since 2022, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación BBVA Viola Chair with professor Diemut Poppen. She has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

She began her music studies at the age of three (violin, Suzuki Method) and entered the Professional Music Conservatory when she was eight. In the 2021-2022 academic year she studied first year of the professional degree at the Katarina Gurska Conservatory.

She has attended masterclasses by David Fons, Santiago Cantó, Pilar Marín, Julia Hu, Joaquín Riquelme, Adolfo Hontañón, Isabel Villanueva, Tony Shorrocks, Pablo García, Javier Cárdenas, Nils Mönkemeyer, and Ralf Gothóni (groups with piano). She also attended summer courses at Ad libitum and Acordes Music School, as well as orchestra courses in Prizren (Kosovo), where she was selected to play with Giovane Paneuropean Orchestra at the 2018 Giovane del Mediterráneo Festival in Forli-Cesena (Erasmus+ Programme) and in a tour around Modena, Forlimmpopoli and Slovenia.

She has performed with the Berklee College Orchestra, among others, and she is currently a member of the Generalitat Valenciana Youth Orchestra and the University of Valencia Philharmonic. She has also been invited to perform with the Castellón Youth Orchestra, in 2021, and was part of the Camerata Viriato.

As a student of the School, she has performed with the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Juanjo Mena and Péter Csaba, and the Camerata Fundación EDP, conducted by Christoph Poppen. She has also been part of the KPMG Schubert Quintet. She is currently a member of the Banco de España Arriaga Quartet.
