Aidan Mikdad

Aidan Mikdad

Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 2001. He has studied with outstanding musicians such as Igor Levit, Dmitri Bashkirov, Nelson Goerner, Richard Goode, Sir András Schiff, Dame Imogen Cooper, and Jean-Yves Thibaudet. In 2015, he was granted the Klavier-Festival Ruhr scholarship by pianist Hélène Grimaud. He has been to several international competitions, having won the competitions of Koninklijk Concertgebouw, Lagny-sur-Marne Piano Competition, Internazionale Pianistico A. Scriabin, Royal Concertgebouw Young Talent Award, and the Piano Awards from the Tabor Foundation of the Verbier Festival. In 2018, he was awarded the Memorial Pnina Salzman Prize at the International Piano Tel Hai Masterclasses in Israel. In 2021, he participated at the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition, where he was the youngest semifinalist.
