Alexander Erokhin Gómez

Born in Valladolid, Spain, in 2009. Since 2022, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Telefónica Violin Chair with professor Zakhar Bron. He has been granted scholarships by AIE-Sociedad de Artistas, Intérpretes y Ejecutantes and Fundación Albéniz.

Coming from a family of musicians, he has studied violin with Francisca Alecu and Elena Pochekina and has actively taken part in the Fundación Princesa de Asturias' Summer Courses with professor Serguéi Teslya, as well as in masterclasses by Miriam Fried.

In 2021 he was awarded first prize at the 1st Hedwig Award Competition, Poland; and the following international competitions: San Remo Music Competition, Italy; Moscow Music Competition, Russia; 23rd Slavic Encounters, Belarus; Leopold Bellan Competition, France; Nouvelle Étoiles, France; Europe Talents Art Competition (Grand Prize); 2nd London Bridges Competition (Grand Prize); MEDICI; International Worldvision Music Contest, among other prizes. As part of the II prize ex-aequo of the City of Estepona Young Performers Competition (2021), he has been invited to play as soloist with the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra in the 22-23 season.

He has also taken part in the 16th Moscow Meets Friends International Festival.
