Alfredo Baldo

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 2004. Of Italian nationality, since 2025, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Inditex Composition Chair, under Professor Fabián Panisello. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

He began his musical journey before the age of three, surrounded by a deeply artistic family environment. He started with the violin, then the piano, and at fourteen turned to composition, influenced by Chopin and Rachmaninov. His style evolved toward an aesthetic marked by contrasts and multiple systems, inspired by Brahms, Schoenberg, Grisey, and Xenakis. He studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where the writings of Wittgenstein and the work of Xenakis transformed his compositional approach into an epistemological exploration of music.

He is currently working on expanding the forms of musical representation, aiming to systematize sound transformation from a structural and philosophical perspective.
