Anaís Gerarda Fernández Cerneira

Born in Galicia (Spain) in 1992. She studied at the Vigo Conservatory with professors Teresa Novoa Freitas and Beatriz Riobó Agulla. Subsequently, at the Santiago de Compostela Conservatory with professors Aída López y Diana Somkhieva.
She won first prize at the Vladímir Spivakov Asociation International Competition in Moscow which led her to record her first CD. She has performed with Vigo 430 Symphony Orchestra and at the Vicente Filgueira Valverde concert, sharinf stage with maestro Maximino Zumalave. In 2017, she did her debut with the Amigos de la Opera de Vigo Asociation and performed at the premier of Coloquio by Camargo Guarnieri. She has also worked with the Young Liryc Asociation Encantados. Since 2018 she is furthering her training at the Reina Sofía School of Music in the Alfredo Krauss Ramón Areces Foundation Voice Chair with professor Ryland Davis. She has been granted a tuition scholarship by Grupo Inditex and Fundación Albeniz. She is currently a member of the Fundación Orange Voces Tempo Ensemble.
