Balázs Papp

Born in Berettyóújfalu, Hungary, in 1999. Tenor with wide musical training, he studied piano for 11 years, composition for 2 years and he finally studied singing in 2018. He has attended the Zoltán Kodály Secondary School of Music in Debrecen and the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest, where he is currently preparing the last year of his Bachelor of Arts. He has performed The Master and Margarita (written by Levente Gyöngyösi) at the Hungarian State Opera. Additionally, he has played the Great Mass in C minor by Mozart with the Budafok Dohnányi Orchestra, as well as the role of Oloferno Vitellozzo in the Lucrezia Borgia by Donizetti in 2021. He was awarded second prize and received four special prizes in his category at the József Simándy International Singing Competition.
