Clara Messina

Born in Paris, France, in 2005, she began playing the violin at age six and entered the Paris Conservatory at 15, studying with Stéphanie-Marie Degand. In 2022, she won second prize and the audience award at the Cambrai International Violin Competition, and later that year received second prize at the Jeunes Talents Competition in Paris. In 2023, she was the only French semi-finalist at the Mirecourt International Competition, performing on an Andreas Guarnerius violin loaned for the event. Clara has participated in renowned academies such as Villecroze, Tibor Varga (Sion), and Sincronia Musica (Rome). In 2024, she will graduate with a bachelor’s degree with honours and unanimous praise from the jury.
