Encounter of Santander
Born in Zamora (Spain), in 2007. Since 2025, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Telefónica Violin Chair, under Professor Christoph Poppen. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.
He began his musical studies in his hometown and, at the age of 10, became a student of Anna Baget. Graduated in 2024 with highest honors, he received the Castilla y León Extraordinary Award for Artistic Education. He has attended masterclasses with Miguel Colom, Helena Satué, Valderrama, and Poppen, and studied at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with Mimi Zweig, Kerson Leong, and Sarah Kapustin, also receiving chamber music training from members of the Pacifica, Erinys, and Hangzhou quartets.
He has performed as a soloist with the Zamora Youth Symphony Orchestra and recorded "Strasbourg 1792" in 2020. He won First Prize in the 12th Corda Cidade de Vigo Competition (Violin Category C).
