Domonkos Hartmann

Born in Hungary, in 1999, he is a versatile cellist and winner of the Junior Prima Award. He studied with István Várdai in Vienna and Ditta Rohmann in Budapest, receiving multiple scholarships. As part of Duo Domo with pianist Csabay Domonkos, he has won several international prizes and audience awards in Lyon and Birmingham. The duo has performed in major venues such as Wigmore Hall (London), the State Opera House (Lyon), Palazzetto Bru Zane (Venice), and Altes Rathaus (Vienna). Their repertoire combines classical, contemporary, and rarely performed works. Since 2022, he has also performed internationally with the Motus Quartet, appearing at the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Musikverein and Konzerthaus (Vienna), and on tours across the USA and Taiwan.
