Emile Souvagie

Born in Aalst, Belgium, in 1999. Graduated in historical clarinet, with a Master’s Degree in Clarinet from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, he has also studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. During the 2022-2023 season, he will be an academist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. He acquired orchestral experience at the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Champs Elysées Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, and at the Belgian National Orchestra. He was principal clarinet of the Youth Orchestra Flanders and the National Youth Orchestra in Netherlands. He is a member of the prize-winner Firgun Ensemble.
