Flavio Castellanos Lozano

Born in Madrid, Spain, in 2005. Since 2025, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music's Clarinet Chair with Professor Pascal Moraguès. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

He began his clarinet studies at the age of nine at the CIEM Federico Moreno Torroba, training with Laura Fernández Organista and Ángel Belda Amorós. He continued his higher education at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska, supported by a scholarship, under the guidance of Javier Martínez García. He has also received instruction from Javier Martínez García, Pascal Moraguès, and José Franch Ballester.

He been awarded in competitions such as the International Clarinet Competition of Picanya (First Prize), Estepona, and Carlino (Italy), and has attended masterclasses with renowned clarinetists. Since 2022, he has been a member of JORCAM and the WYO Orchestra and Choir, performing in venues such as the Auditorio Nacional, Teatro Real, and Palau de les Arts. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras including the Castellón Symphony Orchestra, the Valencia Philharmonic, and La Lira de Pozuelo, notably interpreting Oscar Navarro’s Concerto No. 2. In the 2024/25 season, he collaborated with the Madrid Symphony Orchestra (Teatro Real) and the RTVE Orchestra, and gave concerts in Germany.
