Florianne Remme

Born in Zutphen, Netherlands, in 2000. She started playing the cello at the age of eight and she later studied at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, the school for young talents of the Royal Conservatory in the Hague with Lucia Swarts, and in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Jeroen Reuling. She has been awarded at the Princess Christina Competition, Peter the Great Festival, Verão Classico Festival in Lisbon, and the Cello Biennale in Amsterdam. She is a member of the Piano Audax and Clarinet Cortenbach trios. She plays on a cello built by Thomas Bertrand, lent by Strings for Talent and King Baudouin Foundation, and with a J. J. Martin bow (Paris), lent by Nationaal Muziekinstrumentenfonds.
