Hamlet Ambarzumjan

Born in Wolgast, Germany, in 1999. He began his studies at the age of six. He studied in Munich with Professor Silke Avenhaus, where he was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium. He has been granted the Munich Culture Prize (Leonard and Ida Wolf Gedächtnispreis), as well as a scholarship by Hans, Eugenia Jütting Stiftung. In 2019, he was an academist at TONAli. Since 2011, he studies with professor Gottlieb Wallisch at Universität der Kunste Berlin. He has attended masterclasses by Bianca Bodalia, Bernd Glemser, Herbert Schuch and Markus Belheim. He has performed with Kammerphilharmonie da Capo München, Sinfonieorchester Zorneding Baldham e.V., Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, and Siemens Orchester München e.V. Recently, he made his debut at Munich’s Herkulessaal. He is supported by GVL and Germany’s federal government with their Neustart Konzerte initiative.
