Henrietta Cooke

Born in Watford (United Kingdom) in 1996, Henrietta is an oboist studying at the Royal College of Music with professors Olivier Stankiewicz, Juliana Koch and Fabien Thouand. She is a Leopold de Rothschild Scholar and has performed with the RCM Symphony, Philharmonic, Chamber and Opera orchestras. She has also enjoyed several masterclasses with oboists such as Jacques Tys, Dr. Andrew Parker and Nicholas Daniel at the Wigmore Hall. Upon joining the RCM, Henrietta has enjoyed sit-in schemes with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia. More recently, she won the oboe prize in the RCM Woodwind Competition 2021, and she looks forward to performing with the London Symphony Orchestra at the end of May.
