Encounter of Santander
Born in Castilleja de la Cuesta, Jaén (Spain), in 2009. Since 2025, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music's Fundación BBVA Viola Chair with professor Diemut Poppen. She has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.
She began her viola studies at the age of three at the “Joaquín Turina” School in Seville with Claire Appelwhite and Jerome Ireland. She has also studied with Laure Gaudron and Joaquín Riquelme, and has attended masterclasses with Gérard Caussé, Ruth Olmedilla, Ignacio González, and Natasha Tchitch, among others.
In 2023, she was admitted to the Barenboim-Said Academy and the Andalusian Youth Orchestra, becoming the youngest violist. She has won awards such as First Prize at the Corda Cidade de Vigo Competition and the Baeza Young Performers Competition (2024). She has worked with conductors such as Vasily Petrenko and Pablo González, and in chamber music with Aitor Hevia and Atte Kilpeläinen.
