Jingzhi Zhang

Born in China in 2004, Zhang has gained international recognition for her exceptional artistry, public performances, and competition success. She graduated from the middle school affiliated with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Mr. Weixi Luo, and is currently pursuing her studies at the Detmold University of Music in Germany under Professor Alexander Gebert. A laureate of prestigious competitions, Jingzhi has received awards at the Janáček Cello Competition, the Berlin Grunewald International Competition, and the Llanes Cello Competition in Spain. She has performed in major venues such as Jordan Hall (Boston), Shanghai Concert Hall, and Wenzhou Grand Theatre. She has also participated in international music festivals across Europe and the United States, captivating audiences and establishing herself as a rising star in classical music.
