Studies
Encounter of Santander
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 2004. Since 2025, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Unidad Editorial Double Bass Chair, under Professor Wies de Boevé. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.
He began his musical training at the age of 13 at Fiesta Clásica, where he served as principal double bassist. Since 2019, he has studied at the National Conservatory of Music, earning the highest grade in low strings. He has also studied with Antonio García Araque thanks to Fundación Sinfonia.
He has been principal double bassist in the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Juan Pablo Duarte Orchestra, and the Apassionato Philharmonic, with which he performed at the 2024 Young Euro Classic in Berlin. In 2023, he represented the Dominican Republic as a soloist in an exchange program with Florida State University. Winner of the BritchamDR YMoCA, he received a scholarship to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. In 2024, he was invited to perform with the Dominican Republic’s National Symphony Orchestra.
