Julia Wirth

Born in Essen, Germany, in 1998. During her first studies in business administration, she sang in several extra choirs in productions such as Otello, Aida and La Bohème. After completing her studies in 2019, she began studying voice at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf with Konrad Jarnot. She is currently in her 6th Bachelor’s semester. In 2022 she won the first prize for Rhineland-North at the Lions Music Awards, sang the role of Mimì in the university production of ‘La Bohème’ and performed excerpts from Messiaen’s ‘Poèmes pour Mi’ on the radio channel Deutschlandfunk Kultur. In 2023 she performed the leading role of Lauretta in ‘Gianni Schicchi’, as well as the Princess in Ravel’s opera ‘L’enfant et les sortilèges’.
