Julie Gebhart

Born in Brussels (Belgium) in 1988. Member of the International Opera Academy of Gent for 2 years, since 2017, Julie has been artist-in-residence under the guidance of Jose van Dam at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. She has participated in the operas Prima la musica e poi le parole by Salieri, Orpheus by Telemann, Orphée et Eurydice, and in 2018 and 2019 she performed the role of Cinderella in Pauline Viardot’s opera. Julie has given recitals and concerts with orchestra in numerous prestigious concert halls, including Flagey and Bozar, the Grand Auditorium of Unesco, the Salle Cortot, the Royal Festival Hall Stage in London and the Hofburg concert hall in Vienna. After being nominated by Radio Musiq’3 as Belgian representative in the competition Jeunes solistes des médias publics francophones, she received the public prize.
