Karla Križ

Born in Vienna, Austria, in 2001, she began violin lessons at the age of four and currently studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Ioana Cristina Goicea. She has participated in numerous solo and chamber music masterclasses and was a scholarship holder at the International Music Academy Liechtenstein. Karla has performed across Europe, the USA, Africa, and Asia in prestigious venues such as the Konzerthaus and Musikverein in Vienna, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and Carnegie Hall in New York. She has appeared at major festivals including the Rheingau Music Festival, Crans Montana Classics, Zeister Muziekdagen, and the Salzburg Festival. A passionate chamber musician, she is a member of the award-winning Motus Quartet. She plays a 17th-century composite Andrea Guarneri violin.
