Manuel Peirón Herrero

Born in Pueyo de Santa Cruz, Spain, in 2007. Since 2025, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music, in the Unidad Editorial Double Bass Chair, under Professor Wies de Boevé. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

He completed his elementary and professional studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Monzón under the guidance of Jordi Soler, earning top honors in both instrument and several theoretical subjects. At the same time, he received instruction from Joaquín Arrabal, Luis Cabrera, and Javier Serrano through the Liceu Junior program. He has attended advanced training courses in Spain and abroad, studying with teachers such as Davide Botto, Cédric Carlier, Johanne Seijas, and Naomi Shaham.

He has been a full member of the JONC (Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya) since 2022 and participated as an academy member in the Mahler Chamber Orchestra in 2024, returning for another session in 2025. He has performed under renowned conductors such as Manel Valdivieso, Josep Pons, and Tugan Sokhiev.
