Marcel Mok

Born in Ostfildern (Germany) in 1994. In recent years, Marcel Mok has established himself as one of the most promising young pianists in Germany. He is currently undergoing his postgraduate studies degree with Prof. Klaus Hellwig at the University of Arts in Berlin. Further and previous studies led him to Italy, with Roberto Plano and Bruno Canino, as well as to the Conservatoire de Paris with Hortense Cartier-Bresson. He is a prize-winner of many competitions, most recently the 2nd prize of the competition “Ton und Erklärung” 2019, and the Maria-Ladenburger Award 2020. In recent years, he has performed in major concert halls such as the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Frauenkirche Dresden, the Konzerthaus Berlin and the Beethovenhaus Bonn.
