With over 15 years of professional experience, she began her artistic career at a very young age, debuting as a soloist in works such as Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Requiem, Cherubini’s Requiem, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, as well as in zarzuelas including La corte del faraón, La leyenda del beso, and Los gavilanes.

She holds a degree in Professional Music with a specialization in Operatic Singing from EAFIT University (Colombia). She pursued advanced vocal studies at the Conservatori del Liceu (Barcelona) and at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía (Madrid), where she trained in the “Alfredo Kraus” Voice Chair under the guidance of tenor Ryland Davies. She also holds a Master’s degree in Theatre and Performing Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid.

She has participated in masterclasses with renowned sopranos Ana María Sánchez and Sondra Radvanovsky; mezzo-sopranos Angelika Kirchschlager and Teresa Berganza; tenors Juan Diego Flórez and John Graham-Hall; baritone Christopher Maltman; and Maestro Ralf Gothóni.

A versatile artist with a commanding stage presence, she has performed a wide-ranging repertoire as a soloist across opera, zarzuela, oratorio, and concert song. She has garnered acclaim for numerous leading roles, particularly in Madrid and throughout Spain, portraying characters such as Cherubino and Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro, Musetta in La Bohème, Despina in Così fan tutte, Micaëla in Carmen, Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, and Julieta in Las leyendas de Bécquer.

Her zarzuela debuts as leading soprano include performances in Madrid and other major Spanish cities, portraying roles such as: Sagrario in La rosa del azafrán, Luisa Fernanda and Duquesa Carolina in Luisa Fernanda, Rosario in La chulapona, Ascensión in La del manojo de rosas, Dolores in La dolorosa, Maripepa in La revoltosa, Susana in La verbena de la Paloma, Lota in La corte del faraón, María Jesús in La boda de Luis Alonso, Visita in El bateo, Manuela in Agua, azucarillos y aguardiente, and La Roldán in El barbero de Sevilla, among others.

She is featured in the list of “50 Latin American Creators in Madrid” by Casa América, recognized as a prominent ambassador of Colombian lyric music around the world. Her clear, powerful, and brilliant voice reflects her mestizo heritage, matched by her expressive, energetic, and captivating stage and interpretive presence.
